First impression | L'oreal true match foundation.

I recently ran out of my fave foundation (Mac studio fix fluid) and I couldn't bare to shell out another £21.50 for another one. This is where boots come in, they were having an offer of all L'Oreal foundations being priced at £15 for 2 (here) which is a saving of £5 as they're £9.99 without the offer. Being a 'beauty blogger' I knew that I couldn't pass up such a good offer on such a much loved foundation.

This foundation offers 22 different shades which come in ; Cool, Warm and Neutral which for a drugstore foundation is an amazing shade range. The range starts at one and ends at 8 and each number has a cool, neutral and warm shade which means even paler people with a yellow undertone or darker skinned people with a neutral undertone can find their perfect match! This foundation offers a medium coverage but it's easily build able to full coverage, it gives a dewy finish and has small little flecks of shimmer to help brighten up your face. This foundation is best suited for normal/combo/dry skinned people as people with oily skin may not want a dewy finish as it sometimes can look a little shiny. I can easily get at least 12 hours of wear from this foundation and I've finally found a foundation that doesn't transfer, brilliant.

An apology | sorry for being away!

Hello my lovelies! I just wanted to make this post as an apology that I haven't been blogging/tweeting/instagramming as much as I would like. I've been feeling really ill and crap this past week so I've been bundled in bed finishing college work. College is another reason I haven't been active much, college is coming to an end forever (sad face) in June so I'm currently rushing around trying to get everything done on time! This is causing me stress and also makes me feel much worse! I hope you can understand, I'll be doing my best to try and get myself into a blogging schedule ASAP!

Haul | superdrug madness!

So whilst at my boyfriends house last weekend me and the rest of the females in the family decided we needed some retail therapy and went out shopping into the town centre. It was all going swimmingly until we stumbled into superdrug and I somehow ended up spending over £20 oops!

1. L'Oreal Studio #TXT volume supersize spray (£1.87 usually £3.79) - I've been wanting to try this for a long time after seeing so many people raving about texturing sprays I finally decided to buy it. It's amazing I have wavy/curly hair so sometimes my hair can look frizzy or bushy if I back comb it too much so this has been a saviour! This spray doesn't weigh my hair down or leave a white/chalky residue in my hair so this is a big win for me.

2. Collection colour match foundation (£5.99) - I picked this up on a whim as sadly my HG foundation (Mac studio fix fluid) is almost out and I wanted to find a more suitable foundation that didn't cost as much as my Mac foundation does. This foundation is okay I've found it to be a little dark for me even though I picked up the colour 2 light which is the lightest colour with pink undertones, looking back I think maybe I should have picked up the lighter colour which I may do some other time. Coverage and longevity wise this foundation fares very well it's a medium buildable coverage and I could easily get around 6 hour wear out of this before I would need to powder or touch up.

3. Rimmel lasting finish lipstick in the colour Asia (£4.99) - Like many girls I was in search of my 'perfect nude' lipstick, being a very fair redhead I find that traditional nude colours make me look ill/dead and I would get the same effect if I just put concealer over my lips which really isn't a good look at all. Enter this lipstick. I have found my perfect nude/muted colour I've learnt that a nude lip doesn't necessarily mean a pale colour on the lips but actually means a lip colour that is close/more muted than your own. This lipstick has an incredible finish it's more creemsheen than a satin/glossy finish which I prefer as glossy finish lipsticks can tend to feel sticky it also lasts for about 3 hours before I need to reapply and for £4.99 that aint bad!

4. Rimmel lash accelerator endless mascara in Black 1 (£7.99) - Rimmel are currently having a buy one get one half off deal so I couldn't say no to a new mascara! This mascara has the lash building fibres that make your lashes look longer and super extended hence the name 'endless'. I found at first this mascara was very gloopy and very clumpy however I find this with every single mascara I own for some reason! However I reckon once it starts to dry out a little bit I reckon I will love it more, even though it was very clumpy I did notice that my eyelashes looked amazingly long so I'm very very excited to try this more indepth and I shall deffo be keeping you posted!

5. Bourjois délice de poudre bronzing powder Medium 51(£6.99) - Being a very very fair skinned red head I find it near impossible to find a bronzer that doesn't make me look like an muddy orange disco ball however after a year of searching I finally took the plunge into the world of the Bourjois bronzer. This has been raved and shouted about so much in the blogging world I decided that I HAD to try this, I was never into contouring/bronzer due to the fact most bronzers made me look muddy and that isn't flattering. This bronzer can look a little muddy if you go crazy with it but if you know what you're doing and you're careful it'll make you look lovely!

Please remember all opinions are my own and no one elses, if any products have been sent to me from PR for review there will be a * next to the products, however that does not effect my opinion/review in any way.

What are your most recent purchases from your moments of madness?

Get to know me | TMI tag

I was going to do a haul post but seen as though I did a product FI recently I didn't want to bore you all with constant makeup/beauty, so I decided to do the TMI tag even though I'm not tagged, here we go!

1: What are you wearing?
I'm just wearing a plain grey smock dress and a grey jacket, boring grey for a boring gray Tuesday afternoon.

2: Ever been in love?
I'm in love right now! Me and my boyfriend (Jack) have been together for almost 1 year and 3 months and I'm 100% positive I'm in love!

3: Ever had a terrible breakup?

Yeah, when I was 16 me and this guy were constantly on and off and it was horrible, the final time we broke up was just horrible I never ever want to relive that. Ever.

4: How tall are you?

I'm 4'7 (140cm) Yes I am being serious, I'm almost 18 and I'm only 4'7 its very laughable.

5: How much do you weigh?

I don't really weight myself that often I actually try to avoid putting myself onto the scales. I just make sure I'm eating properly and working out as often as possible plus I always go off by what my gran says, she's always very honest with me!

6: Any tattoos?

Sadly not yet :( I'm 18 in July so hopefully that will be changing as soon as I can save up £120 for the tattoo I've planned. Although I don't want to have too many as I have to think about my professional look for when I'm older and looking to enter the job market.

7: Any piercings?

Only my nose for the moment which I'm actually considering taking out as it looks pretty unprofessional and I feel that I've out-grown the whole 'rebellious teenage angst' look. I'll maybe have my ears re-pierced but I'm not planning anything major yet!

8: OTP?

OTP's usually make me feel pretty ill as some of them are far too extreme and over the top and just weird. I once someone write a fan-fic of Hermione and Fluffy the 3 headed dog... Safe to say that was removed pretty quickly from that webiste. If I had to OTP anyone it would be Dexter Morgan (Dexter) and Daryl Dixon (The walking dead) I feel that Dexter and Daryl would be the cutest couple and just go on a complete killing spree!

9: Favorite show?

Deffo has to be Dexter at the moment it's just so interesting and gripping! It's more of a psychologically based show but oh my lord they have the BEST plot twists! I recommend you check it out it's available (all 8 seasons) on netflix!

10: Favorite bands?

I'm really into The Stranglers, Rammstein, The Story So Far, While She Sleeps, Black Sabbath, Neck Deep, A Day To Remember, Lorde, Nirvana and Blondie. My music taste varies a lot as you can tell, I like to keep myself open to new styles/bands I've been there and done the whole 'I only listen to *insert music genre here*

11: Something you miss?

I miss being at secondary school and just having a great time with all my mates!

12: Favorite song?
I don't really have one, I listen to so so so many bands it's pretty impossible to pick my favourite.

13: How old are you?
I am 17 turning 18 on the 12th of July (put that in your diaries ;)

14: Zodiac sign?
I am a cancer the crab, I feel like I'm every single trait of my horror scope. It describes me perfectly :-)

15: Quality you look for in a partner?
I look for someone who's funny, loving, caring, very understanding, calm, likes to have cuddles, intelligent and fun. I've basically described jack :-)

16: Favorite Quote?
I don't really live by quotes or have one that's really inspired me as of yet but maybe that will change with time.

17: Favorite actor?
Johnny Depp, hands down.

18: Favorite color?
I love black. You can never have too much black.

19: Loud music or soft?
If you're going to play music it has to be loud or else what's the point!?

20: Where do you go when you’re sad?
I like to get in bed and watch some Netflix and cuddle with whichever one of my seven cats has taken pity on me.

21: How long does it take you to shower?
Depends, I can take 5 minutes and be showered in a flash or I can take about 40 minutes doing my full beauty routine. It totally depends on where I'm going.

22: How long does it take you to get ready in the morning?
Again it depends on where I'm going, for college I can be ready in 40 minutes (including hair washed) or if I'm seeing jack it usually takes me well over an hour!

23: Ever been in a physical fight?
No I'm proud to say I've never ever ever been in a fight once.

24: Turn on?
Ginger hair, beards, good music taste and intelligence.

25: Turn off?
People who are arrogant, smelly and rude.

26: The reason I joined Youtube?
I don't actually post videos (maybe if I get a decent camera I will be starting to in the near future!) but I actually made an account so I could subscribe to amazing youtubers! YouTube is soley responsible for me getting so much involved with hair and beauty.

27: Fears?
Suffering, suffering is my biggest fear I really can't stand to be in pain or upset or living in fear.

28: Last thing that made you cry?
Having to say goodbye to Jack at the train station. :(

29: Last time you said you loved someone?
This morning whilst me and jack were having a cuddle.

30: Meaning behind your YouTube Name?
I don't really have an answer for this.

31: Last book you read?
The hunger games ; mocking jay. If anyone hasn't read this series YOU NEED TO RIGHT NOW. Oh lord it's so amazing.

32: The book you’re currently reading?
I'm not currently reading anything :( if anyone has any recommendations for me, I'm open to them!

33: Last show you watched?
Dexter which is slowly becoming my favourite series of shows over NCIS. If you haven't seen it, you really really need to!

34: Last person you talked to?
Jack just now, we've just been to tesco to pick up something for us all to eat.

35: The relationship between you and the person you last texted?
The last person I text was my mum.

36: Favorite food?

Tuna! I love tuna so so so much and it drives Jack mad, haha!

37: Place you want to visit?

I have a strong yearning to visit the east of Europe, mainly Russia and Ukraine for some reason. I'm drawn to those two countries and I'm really unsure why given the current situation over there.

38: Last place you were?

I was last in a different place this afternoon if that's what this question means!? I was last in Manchester visiting Jack.

39: Do you have a crush?

I have a crush on Jack if that counts?

40: Last time you kissed someone?

This afternoon when I was saying goodbye to Jack :(

41: Last time you were insulted?

I don't really remember the last time I was intentionally insulted, yay.

42: Favorite flavor of sweet?

Has to be orange! Although there are no orange bon-bons...

43: What instruments do you play??

I don't play any sadly, I used to be able to (sort of) play the guitar but not anymore I'm afraid.

44: Favorite piece of jewellery?

The ring that Jack bought me for our year anniversary.

45: Last sport you played?

I went swimming last night, god I love swimming!

46: Last song you sang?

What does the Fox say I think, Jacks nephew was wondering around singing it this morning and it's been stuck in my head all day!

47: Favorite chat up line?

Did you fall from heaven because your face is messed up.

48: Have you ever used it?

Haha oh god no, I don't think it would get you much apart from a slap in the face.

49: Last time you hung out with anyone?

This afternoon with my gran when I went to see her after I came home from Jack's house.

50: Who should answer these questions next?

Anyone who wants to! I wasn't even tagged in these but I still did them, leave me a link to your answers below I can't wait to read them!

First impressions| La Roche Posay - Effaclar duo +

So I did it, I followed the hype and bought the much loved La Roche Posay - Effaclar Duo [+]. This has been hyped up and much loved by almost everyone in the beauty blogging scene! I picked this up for £10.33 instead of £15.50 from here whilst they're having their 1/3 all French brands sale!

The postman kindly delivered this to me on Friday (it's now Saturday night). Now I know I haven't even had it a day but already I'm really really enjoying it and it's the thing I look most forward to in my skin care! I use this as a moisturizer as directed and I've used it morning and night! Having combo/dry skin I'm always a little scared of using something aimed for more oilier skins for fear of drying it out to the max! However this moisturizer is completing amazing! It adequately moisturizes my dry skin whilst at the same time giving love to and controlling my oily bits of skin! It also makes an amazing primer due to it being silicone based and how it controls the oil from my t-zone. As for the acne/spot front I haven't noticed dramatic changes however they do appear less angry, red and swollen which after 2 uses seems very promising! Watch out for this in one of my in depth reviews!

Please remember all opinions are my own and no one elses, if any products have been sent to me from PR for review there will be a * next to the products, however that does not effect my opinion/review in any way.

So have you guys tried this, any other La Roche Posay products or even any other French brands, what do you think? I'd love to know!

Mothers day | The non-gift guide to mothers day.

So with mothers day just around the corner, there are many of us (including me) left scratching their heads as to what to do/buy for their mother. So I sat down to thinking about what I could buy for my mum, then I realised that everything isn't about material things and buying the biggest flashiest gift. So I thought what could I make or do for my mum to show her how much I appreciate everything that she does for me and how much I really do love here even though I don't always show it.

1. Make your mum a meal - Now this isn't a very hard (well, it is for me) task but it is one that's highly appriciated by mums. My mum spends a lot of time running around keeping the house in order, making meals, doing other domestic chores that I've found she barely has time to sit down and relax. So this is why it's a fab idea to make your mum a meal even if its just for an hour or so give your mum the time she needs to sit down and relax! Subtly drop hints and ask your mum or dad what your mum's fave meal is you may also want to find out sooner rather than later so you have time to practice to avoid burnt food which is never a nice thing to receive!

2. Give your mum a pamper day - Whether this is treating her to mini spa treatments using your fave products or just taking over the role of 'Boss of the house' for the day it all counts! You could give your mum a mini facial, paint her nails, give her hair a revamp anything that can make your mum feel great again! If your mum isn't into beauty you could take the role of boss for the day! You can take charge of making breakfast, lunch and tea for everyone, making sure that the house is clean and everyone is on track with their day! I'm sure my mum would appreciate it if I could take charge of 7 cats, the meals, the housework and the decorating even if it was just for a day!

3. Have a movie day! - This is a nice treat for you and the rest of the family as it allows you all have time together to appreciate the family as a whole. However to make it mothers day appropriate you have to let your mum choose all of the films and all of the snacks! Even if it does mean a whole day watching sex in city and other soppy love films, it's worth it to see your mum happy!

4. Make her something! - There really is nothing nicer than receive something handmade for your birthday/christmas so why should mothers day be any different!? You could make her a collage of family photos! *This isn't my family collage, my boyfriend very kindly let me borrow the picture!*

I think this is such a lovely idea and allows you to put all of the happy family memories into one picture to keep forever! In 10 years you could always make another one and pass them down through the family to cherish forever. It doesn't have to be a collage, you could make her a card or something that could be hung in the house to have as a constant reminder of you!

5. Give your mum love ALL YEAR ROUND! - this sounds pretty obvious but I'm deffo guilty of not appreciating my mum as much as I should. Remember you don't have to just show your mum the love on Mother's Day, appreciate and love her all year round, she deserves it!

I hope this gave you guys some ideas on alternative ideas for Mother's Day gifts! What are you guys planning to do to spoil your mums?

Worth it Wednesday?#02

Worth it wednesday #02

Hello my lovelies! once again it's Wednesday already! The weeks just seem to be passing me by on the run up to waiting for my university details to be finalised and sorted, all very exciting! Anyway lets not ramble too much, today I will be giving you a breakdown and a 'is it worth it' on the much loved tangle teezer!

The tangle teaser that isn't something that is necessarily new however you'd be surprised on how many people DON'T own one of these, madness! A tangle teezer is a large palm sized plastic brush with evenly distributed bristles, this allows the brush to easily pass through the hair and get rid of those annoying knots and tangles.

Tangle Teezer The Original professional detangling hairbrush is loved by hairdressers and used in professional hair salons. It's a super smooth operator that works the minute hair is lathered and rinsed. Glides through wet, vulnerable and colour treated hair with no pulling, tugging or yanking. Hair peace at last! (http://www.tangleteezer.com)

Now, I have naturally wavy/curly hair which is all very nice but with curly/wavy hair comes a lot of frizz and A LOT of knots and tangles which can be very painful and very time consuming to try and get out when I want my hair to be smooth. Brushing my hair is usually a pain as I often either create a lot of frizz or end up with a brush stuck inside my big mane. However this all changed when I bought a tangle teezer and I have never ever looked back from it! Brushing my hair is just so easy and quick when I use a tangle teaser, also because it's made from plastic it's safe to use in the water and easy to clean if you do happen to spill something on it! You can buy them here for £10.20

Is it worth it!?
I'd say 100% worth it, I feel that EVERYONE no matter their hair type should invest in one of these brushes! They last forever (had mine over a year) and are just a miracle!

Please remember all opinions are my own and no one elses, if any products have been sent to me from PR for review there will be a * next to the products, however that does not effect my opinion/review in any way.

Have you guys tried out the tangle teaser yet?

An apology

Hello my lovelies! So I haven't posted since Sunday night, for which I'm going to explain now!

We moved in the half term week (last week) so everything at my new house is very upside down with a lot of our stuff still in boxes which means I'm having to balance getting work for college done with sorting out my new bedroom etc. So it's all been very stressful and exhausting for me, my mum and her boyfriend this past week and a bit so I apologise! Posts will be coming your way as soon as possible! I just need some time to get myself sorted and settled! I hope you can all understand and have yourself a lovely weekend!

Review | Space girl, lush bath ballistic.

Hello my lovelies! Happy sunday! So yesterday we were out and about when Jack surprised me with a little lush purchase. He bought me the Space Girl bath ballistic (£2.25), I never usually look at the bath bombs in lush because I just feel why pay all that money for something you'll get one use from!? I much prefer the bubble bars that last a long time and leave your bath smelling and looking gorgeous! But hey there is a first time for everything and I was a happy bunny and very thankful that he even knew which one to get me!

This is what lush have to say about this cute little bath bomb; Once you drop this into your bath, Space Girl crackles with space dust (popping candy) as it spins around your orbit, restoring your good cheer. Grapefruit oil is refreshing and uplifting for the mood, clarifying and toning the skin, while bergamot makes you feel relaxed and mildly euphoric. (www.lush.co.uk) The bath bomb contains grapefruit oil which is very refreshing and mood lifting whilst Bergamot leaves you feeling happy and relaxed.

This bath bombs leaves your bath a beautiful lilac colour with little specs of glitter. This is a very strong smelling bath bomb, so if you don't like strong smells this maybe isn't for you! But right from the outset this bath bomb smelt gorgeous! The first thing you smell is the grapefruit oil which is a very sweet citrusy smell and very refreshing and uplifting. Once the bath bomb has completely dissolved the smell of bergamot is then apparent, it's extremely relaxing and makes you feel totally as easy and relaxed. This bath bomb is perfect if you've had a tough day and need a little pick me up! For only £2.25 it's a total bargin if you're on a budget but still need your lush kick!

Please remember all opinions are my own and no one elses, if any products have been sent to me from PR for review there will be a * next to the products, however that does not effect my opinion/review in any way.

So what are you guys lusting after in lush? Leave me a comment and I will ALWAYS reply to you!

Wishlist #1

Hello my lovelies! So today was supposed to be a haul post, but where I live is rubbish for shopping without going out of my way to go to Meadowhall, so here is a little wishlist instead. I mean I am turning 18 in july *Nudge nudge wink wink Jack*

1) Liz Earle, Cleanse and polish hot cloth cleanser (£14.75) - You only have to open blogger, youtube, wordpress etc to find people singing the praises of this cleanser! I have not heard/seen ONE SINGLE negative review of this cleanser, ever! I love how Liz Earle make different sizes and also 'starter kits' that come with 2 muslin cloths to get you started. They even make a £9.50 trial size, so if you really don't get along with it you haven't shelled out £14.75 for a starter kit. This has been on my wishlist for a very very long time, but I'm still in the process of finishing my 'Soap and glory, peaches and clean cleanser' before I even think of investing in this one. Keep your eyes peeled though, you may be seeing it soon!

2) Nars sheer glow foundation (£30.50) - This is a firm favorite among many bloggers/youtubers and I am very very curious to find out if this is another product that is just hyped up beyond belief or if this is really as amazing as everyone says! I have dry/combo skin so the 'satin finish' appeals to me although I do prefer to have a matte finish as I've had one too many incidents where I've looked like I've just thrown oil all over my face. However £30.50 for a foundation!? The price is a little steep and does make me hesitant to try this in-case I don't like it, but I guess we will just have to wait and see!

3) Nars 'Orgasm' blush (£21.50) - Another Nars product! I cannot resist this blush, now not just because of the naughty name, but the colour! I always look at this lustfully when in Selfridges in Manchester and have to pull myself away :(. I barely ever wear blush so I just feel that this would be a waste, plus I found a dupe for this blush too! 'Sleek blush - Rose gold' The colour is ever so similar however it has less gold shimmer than the Nars blush too. So maybe I won't be running out to get this any time soon, but in the future it would be lovely to own this much loved Nars blush!

4) EOS lipbalm (£5.99) - This product is sadly not available in the UK or even Europe(I think?) so this is something I've only ever seen American/Canadian bloggers talk about. I love the packaging and the shape of the lipbalm, it's something thats very different but also looks a lot easier to apply because of the sphere of product. I can't really justify buying this product, as it's £6 plus P+P considering there are so many amazing lipbalms that are available on the high street for a fraction of the price. But one day, ONE DAY, I SHALL own an EOS lipbalm, even if it does mean shelling out for the P+P.

5) Katy Perry, Killer Queen perfume (£14.50) - This perfume just smells incredible! I keep picking this up every time in Boots to give myself a quick spritz!(naughty) However I already have a few perfumes on the go that need finishing up :( But, I could justify it by the fact this is a very light scent that is perfect for summer! So you'll probably be seeing this soon if I decide to part with my precious boots points!

Please remember all opinions are my own and no one elses, if any products have been sent to me from PR for review there will be a * next to the products, however that does not effect my opinion/review in any way.

So what are you guys lusting after? Leave me a comment and I will ALWAYS reply to you!

Worth it Wednesday #1

Hello my lovelies! Welcome to my first ever 'Worth it Wednesday?' Today i'll be reviewing the Mac lipstick in the colour Russian red.

Red is my favorite colour to wear on my lips because I have a very pale complexion with blue eyes, so I find that red really draws out the blue in my eyes.  So because red is my favorite colour to wear on my lips, I thought I would treat myself to my first ever high-end lipstick! I'm so glad that I picked a M.A.C lipstick to be my first ever high end lipstick, especially this colour.

Russian red is a matte finish however it can be slightly drying if you don't use a lipbalm under the lipstick and throughout the day. The lipstick looks so lovely and velvety if you apply it under a lipliner with a lip balm! This is a blue red, which will compliment more cool tones (pink toned girls this is one for you!), it will also make your teeth look whiter, woohoo! This lipstick DOES.NOT.BUDGE, you can eat, drink and kiss everything in sight and by the end of the day your lipstick will still be neatly in place. Which is a deal breaker for me as I often have long days where I'm not able to touch up every hour.

At first M.A.C lipsticks can appear quite pricey, however I've had this for almost a year and I have quite a bit left considering I use this at least once a week! M.A.C lipsticks in general are definitely worth the price for the quality and longevity, not to mention the beautiful range of colours and finishes that mac offer. If you feel matte colours are too drying or are not your thing then they layer beautifully with a gloss. I like to top my Russian red with the E.L.F studio glossy gloss in 'Merry Cherry' it adds a beautiful colour and a beautiful glossy finish.

M.A.C Russian red can be purchased here for £15.

IS IT WORTH IT!?
In my opinion it IS worth it! The quality and longevity of the lipstick is completely worth the price tag! If you're looking for a decent quality red lipstick I would definitely pick this!

I hope you enjoyed my first 'Worth it wednesday?', please leave feedback, it would mean a lot to me! Also let me know if there is anything you'd like to see in future 'Worth it wednesday's?'

Hello my lovelies! So the other month I was browsing through boots (standard afternoon for me) when I came across the Seventeen display. I realised I'd never really used much from Seventeen or payed much attention to them. During this trip I picked up a new lipstick (shock horror) in the colour Belle.

The lipstick itself is beautiful, it's quite a deep mauve/rose colour. However it doesn't go onto the lips as dark as it is in the tube. It starts of quite sheer but can be built up into a more opaque colour. The lipstick goes on more like a gloss however it doesn't feel gloopy or sticky and doesn't attract my hair to my lips on the wind, which is very important if you live in the north of England because it's basically just lots of hills with lots of wind. The lipstick isn't awfully long wearing due to it being a glossy finish lipstick and the fact I'm always either eating or drinking.

Overall I think the lipstick is lovely if you're looking for a sheer wash of colour and a glossy finish so you don't have to faff around with lipstick and gloss! Priced at £4.79 this is an absolute bargin and perfect for beauty's on a budget! This is available from boots.

Worth it wednesdays?

Hello my little lovelies! This is the start (hopefully) of a new series on my blog! I'm going to be starting *drum roll* Worth it wednesdays!?

This is basically a mini review on products that are both high-end and highstreet! I'll be telling you what I think of it, if there are any dupes that are better quality/cheaper and of course the question : IS IT WORTH IT!?

I'm looking foward to starting these posts and I hope you'll enjoy reading them! See you wednesday x

Hello my lovelies! With the weather ever changing in England, I have to be very particular on what I put onto my face and hair to protect it! So here is my current skin care & hair care routine! (Just a side note, I have dry - combo skin it is very sensitive but also acne prone, sucks I know)

Peaches & Clean 3 in 1 cleanser - This cleanser is AMAZING, so many people in the beauty world have raved about this and for good reason! I picked this up in the Soap & Glory yule monty christmas box and I have loved this from the first day I used it! It is a very creamy cleanser that removes all my makeup so easily, it has a slight minty smell (not a peachy one sadly) that doesn't irritate my sensitive skin. You can purchase this here for £8

Scrubatomic amazing daily face polish - Another soap and glory product, huzar! As as girl who has dry skin and patches of eczema around the nose area a scrub is essential, however it's very hard to find a scrub that doesn't irritate my skin... Until now! This scrub removes all of the dead skin cells from my face without being too harsh! You can purchase this here for £9

Garnier micellar cleansing water - The whole beauty world has gone mad over these micellar waters! First L'oreal and now Garnier have followed suit! This again is amazing, removes makeup in one swipe and doesn't sting my eyes or lips! It has no funny smell like some waters and at £4.99 for 400ml I cannot fault this one bit! You can purchase this here for £4.99

Botanics All bright cleansing toner - Toner is something that is new in my life, I never ever used to use a toner before. I know I know, slap my wrists, but someone once told me that if you had acne you shouldn't use a toner. So like a fool I just skipped this step, until one day wondering through boots I spotted this little beauty! I had heard many horror stories of toners burning peoples faces but I was pleasantly surprised at how soothing and lovely this one is! You can purchase this here for £3.99

Aussie frizz miracle shampoo - Australian blue gum... not something you really want to see when buying a new shampoo. I've been one of the unfortunate ones who at some point in their life has ended up with chewing gum in my hair (sigh). However this shampoo is actually amazing, naturally my hair is curly/wavy and along with that I have a ton of frizz! This shampoo just smooths out my hair without weighing it down or making it greasy, deffo worth the blue gum! You can purchase this here for £4.69

Aussie 'take the heat' 3 minute miracle - This has been a firm favourite of mine since I was about 14. I used to dye my hair quite often which wasn't too kind on my hair and on top of that I used to straighten my hair EVERYDAY without fail. Which has left my hair fried and dead! However slowly with the use of this treatment I'm bringing my hair back to being lovely and healthy once again! I love the convienice of this, just pop it on your hair in the shower, wash your body/face, brush your teeth whilst you wait and voila, your hair is good to go!

There you have it! whats currently on my face & hair! Leave your routines in the comments below!

Jackie Oates - lush pigment.

This can be purchased at lush.co.uk at £8.95 for 20ml.

Being a nice ghostly shade of white, I find it very hard to find a drugstore/high street foundation that isn't too yellow or too dark for my skin tone.

This is where lush is my saviour.

Let's be honest being a poor college(soon to be uni) student I don't really have £20+ at my disposal to be spending on foundations from counters. So when I saw a few reviews of this product I knew I wanted to try this out.

This is what the 'foundation' looks like, along with my favourite foundation brush ever! (Real techniques buffing brush).

In the pot the 'foundation' appears very very thick and creamy and almost a little scary, however do not worry! This 'foundation' can be mixed in with moisturiser to give a more natural finish or used alone to give a medium coverage.

This is suitable for people who are dry/combo as it is a cream. I have quite dry skin and I find this product requires powder to take away shine and oil! So maybe oiler people may want to give this a miss!

Overall this product is defiantly worth the price! It may be 10ml smaller than a normal foundation, however this can be mixed with moisturiser so you don't need to use as much as you may think! Lush is also a cruelty free/vegan brand so no fluffy bunnies were hurt in the process!

What's your favourite lush product?
